As a followup to this post:-
If your device has a USB-C port, you could keep your regular USB port free for other items and use the C one. But is that a good idea?
According to an experienced user, USB-C ports don’t hold the cable as tightly which means it can easily slip out in use!
(which could be a real “deal-breaker” if you are running a video conference at that moment !!)
